The Court of Appeal sitting in Akure has delivered its judgment on the high-profile murd£r case involving Rahman Adedoyin, who was convicted by the High Court of Osun State for the murd€r of Timothy Adegoke.
Key highlights of the judgment include:
1. The court upheld the High Court’s decision, affirming Adedoyin’s conviction and d£ath s£ntence. His appeal on this ground was dismissed in part.
2. The order for the forfeiture of Hilton Hotel, owned by Adedoyin, was quashed and set aside.
3. The directive mandating Adedoyin and others to provide educational scholarships to the children of Timothy Adegoke was also quashed and set aside.
