VENO tv Wife Beater Rumour: How Frank Edoho's Boss Saved His Job Uncovered
Date: 08-01-25

By Atuekong Ndaeyo
Frank Edoho came to Lagos from Calabar with nothing but his dream. His dream was to become a renowned media personality. He was able to work with several media houses as a result of his hard work, brilliance, creativity, and competence.

Providence smiled on Edoho when he was picked to anchor the popular TV show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Due to his competence, the rating approval was very good, and MTN decided to sponsor the show.

Problem started for Edoho after the collapse of his first marriage. Rumors started flying around that he was a wife beater. The sponsors of WWTBM got wind of the rumors, and they decided to either opt out of the sponsorship of the show or get Edoho replaced as the host of the show.

In a bid to save Edoho's job, his boss persuaded officials of the company to hear Edoho's side of the story before taking their decision. Edoho was in London when he got a call from his boss to book the next available flight to Nigeria for a sit down with the officials of their show's sponsors the following day or risk being kicked out as the host of the show.

Edoho arrived Lagos the next day, he got his evidence and went straight to the meeting with the officials of the company sponsoring his show. He gave a chronological narration of events that happened between him and his ex wife even before they got married. Halfway into his narration, some of the officials started crying. That was how his job was saved.

According to Frank Edoho, his ex wife appeared in a documentary and talked about being a victim of domestic violence in her marriage without evidence. Her appearance gave validity to the rumor flying around and that was how the company sponsoring WWTBM got wind of it and almost got him sacked as the host of the show.

Some fuuls claimed that Emeka Ike was physically assaulting his ex wife. I asked for evidence yet they couldn't present one. It is important to note that Frank Edoho and Emeka Ike remarried after their first marriage ended. There has been no talk of domestic violence in their new marriage.

Hear from both sides before you judge a man.
May the blessings be.
