Senator Nenadi Usman. The First Female Caretaker Charman of Labour Party has officially handed over the party's flag to Olumide Akpata, the candidate of the party in the gubernatorial election in Edo State, Nigeria on September 21st at the mega campaign rally in Benin State, on Wednesday

Nenadi acquired her first degree in geography from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and later, a postgraduate diploma from the University of Jos. She was the Managing Director of DANA VENTURES and later Executive Adviser (Youths & Sports) in Kaduna State in 1992.
She was also the Executive Adviser (Information, Home Affairs & Culture) in 1993. She was the Principal Personnel Officer (FCDA) from 1994 to 1998.
Nenadi Usman has been a very active politician, philanthropist, and public servant.
Recalls that when there was agitation on her emergence as the Labour Party caretaker chair, she responded, the stakeholders saved the party from being deregistered by the INEC.
