VENO NEWS: I received my pension regularly..Gen.TY Danjuma, Chairman of a book launch titled The Booth.

Gen.T.Y Danjuma (rtd), Chairman has said that he received his pension regularly, and I have learnt a few things in a book written by Major General Solomon Effiong Udounwa, showcasing his experience in the military..
He made this known at a book launch titled The Booth, being the chairman of the occasion.
He, however, used the opportunity to thank all service chiefs who came after him..I received my pension regularly and on time..If you know how civil servants struggle to get their pension paid..
According to him, a friend who is dead retired as a permanent secretary, several years of his retired, he was paid..When I became a service chief,he drew my attention to it.i discovered corruption governing the payment of pension and gratuity is alarming..
As a service chief, I could not fix it.. He emphatically revealed that the foundation was laid for armed forces to manage the pension, and it was done effectively after his intervention with the president.
The army has been very kind to some of us, to me, in particular, in ensuring that they provided security for me adequately..Am very grateful..
The number 1 problem in Nigeria today is security, we must end the banditry and killings going on in our country as soon as possible..The responsibility is on you who are still serving, no excuse..God bless you, God bless our country .
