The Celebrity Journal Publishers Association of Nigeria (CJPAN) led by the President ,Alhaji Ola Mohammed on behalf of other members of the association has joined eminent Nigerians to congratulates the newly promoted, efficient and gallant office,,CP Adegoke Mustapha Fayoade to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police by the IGP, Olukayode Egbetokun
on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, as Nigerian police witnessed an elaborate event as top officers donned their newly earned ranks in a lively ceremony at the Goodluck Jonathan Peacekeeping Hall in Abuja.
Inspector-General of Police ,Egbetokun Olukayode Adeolu presided over the event, which brought together a distinguished crowd of family members, friends, and senior officials.
The promotion, approved by the Police Service Commission at the IGP’s request, elevated eight Commissioners of Police (CPs) to Assistant Inspectors General of Police (AIGs), while 15 Deputy Commissioners (DCs) stepped into the rank of CP.

The IGP, however, congratulated the officers, urging them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity as they step into their new roles. He emphasised that their leadership will be crucial as the force continues its mission of ensuring peace and security across Nigeria.
While congratulating the newly promoted office, AIG Fayoade, the President of the prestigious association,(CJPAN) Alhaji Ola Mohammed, emphatically revealed that the elevation of CP Fayoade to AIG, was a well deserved and commendable. while assuring him that CJPAN will continue to support his leadership in the police force.
Recalls,that the CP Fayoade was born on October 28, 1966, in Ila-Orangun, Osun State, Nigeria
He was enlisted in the Nigeria Police as a cadet officer on May 18th, 1992. He served in the operations, administration, and investigative departments.
He holds a B. A (Edu) Hons in History and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Lagos State University (LASU) and University of Lagos (UNILAG), respectively.
Fayoade was at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York, USA from 1998 to 1999. From 1999-2003, he was police ADC to the former governor of Osun, Chief Bisi Akande
He was a Divisional Police Officer at Ajao Police Station, Ilupeju Police Station, and Bar Beach, Victoria Island Divisional Headquarters.
He served as the Area Commander of Sango Area Command, Ogun State, where he was promoted to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police and thereafter moved to Zone 2, Onikan, Lagos as DC Admin.
After he got promoted to the rank of Commissioner of Police, he was moved to become CP Amarment, Force Headquarters, Abuja, and later to Police Training School, Jos, and now to the Lagos Police Command.
