VENO tv: Ex-Army Officer, Olasehinde Asaolu Dies at 79

Ex- Army officer who fought the Nigerian Civil War from 1967 to 1970 as a regimented Nigerian Infantry soldier, Mr. James Olasehinde Asaolu is dead.

He died at the aged of 79 Years on Monday at Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria

His remains has been deposited in a mortuary at Igbara-Oke, Ondo State for a proper burial arrangement. According to the information at the disposal of Veno tv: He died in Akure's residence of his daughter after a brief illness .

Recalls, the deceased arrived from the war front with an Ibo lady whom he married as his wife and mother of his children.

Very honest and straightforward a person. He can dash out his two eyes if you wanted them, to let you know how good he was at giving.
