Bishop Folarin Obey-Fabiyi of the Decross Gospel Mission, Mulero, Agege, Lagos and Dr Jane Onaolapo, General Overseer of the Abundant Life Gospel Church,Pen Cinema, Agege, Lagos have expressed support for the May 7 World Praise Day programme.
This year's edition comes up on Sunday, May 7 20230 across the world.
Both clerics gave their assurances of support, when the Convener of the May 7 World Praise Day programme, Deacon Banjo Omole visited them last week in Lagos.
Bishop Obey-Fabiyi assured that the global praise programme is worthy of support because it is to exalt the Almighty God. He said, no effort would be spared to by himself and the Decross congregation,to ensure that the programme succeeds.
He commended Deacon Omole for the excellent book he wrote to promote the vision.
Also,Rev Dr Onaolapo,who has been a firm supporter of the May 7 World Praise Day since last year, expressed her continued support for the event. She encouraged the Convener with an unspecified donation towards the organization of this year's edition.
Deacon Omole thanked both clerics and promised to do his best to improve on last year's edition.
Omole,a Deacon of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Victory Center,Iju Road, Ifako-Ijaiye, Agege, Lagos, said the May 7 World Praise Day programme is gaining ground as several people are participating in praising God wherever they might be on May 7,2023, as desired by the organization.
