Pastor Enoch Adeboye is one of the few pastors who believe in giving back to society. He has assisted different charity Organisations/NGOs including individuals. He is one of those few pastors who believed in the power of seed. He is of the opinion that those who know the power of giving will not joke with it and will not hide it because God will definitely use it as a measure to give back to you. According to one of his teachings, we should not be expecting God to become a magician if you are not helping the needy. God is not a magician, He multiplies what you give to Him,but He does not change the container. I am sure this is one of the reasons Pastor Enoch Adeboye donâ€™t joke with helping and assisting people,most especially the less privileged

Bishop Oyedepo, is another man of God who also gets involved in a lot of charity work that he does not talk about. He has created a lot of employment opportunities, and apart from those he pays their salary regularly, there are those who are employed on a daily basis to do menial jobs and work on the construction sites. Many people live in his house per time. He has trained so many people.He once found donated relief materials worth millions of naira to Internally Displaced Persons in Maiduguri. This was presented by State Pastor in-charge of Maiduguri. This gesture was part of the Pastorâ€™s effort to reach out to displaced persons across the country. And also urged rich citizens to make efforts to bring succour to the displaced persons across the country

Primate Elijah Ayodele is another example of some of the servants of God alive in Nigeria who had done wonderful things for the poor and the less -privileged in society, not minding religion, tribe or vocation. He had assisted numerous people almost all over the country without any religion consideration and sentiment. Often, he does give out items such as Vehicles, tricycles, mattresses, freezers, television sets, sewing machines, generator sets, cash gifts for people with accommodation and serious health challenges, JAMB forms, WAEC forms, giving out university scholarships to church members and non church members sponsoring pilgrimage trips to Jerusalem and Mecca. The reason for all these is to ameliorate the condition of people in the country.

Another good example of a man of God who believes in humanitarian and charity is an Ikare born Pastor F.E Bamiduro, the founder of Thy is Life Christian Outreach (IYE NI ORO NAA), Area1 Estate, Suberu Oje Alagbado Lagos. He is of the opinion that we brought nothing definitely, we will go with nothing. So helping and catering for the widows, aged and the less privileged are his utmost priority. This is done through his NGO Bamiduro LifeCare Foundation which was established a a long time ago purposefully to assist the Aged and those that are in need. This foundation covers all the part of rural areas in Ondo , Ekiti and Lagos state. This is achieved through monthly distribution of food stuff, beverages, and cash gifts to the aforementioned set of people. I must let you know that he is not as rich as other pastor, but he is contented and always ready to render assistance and help people whenever it is necessary. He has been practicing this for over 2 decades now, and God has been good to him.

Pastor Gabriel popularly known as Agbala Gabriel is another man of God who believes the gospel of the Lord Saviour should not be limited to the pulpit, that there are other gestures such as giving back the society by helping the widows aged and the less- privileged. Sometimes ago he was seen among aged people where he fed them with both material things and word of God. And was also pictured when he assisted a Nollywood veteran actress iya ibeji Omo araiye le with a reasonable amount of money for her treatment and upkeep.

Prophet Sanya Ojo, the founder of Veno Prayer Centre, popularly known as Anjonu Eledumare, is one of the the prophets whose his interests in assisting people is second to none. He started five years ago with Breakfast With Veno during the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic, which eventually resulted in lockdown and actually kept every single Nigerian at home for months. Since then, it become an annual event.This year has been slated for April 29th and there are other empowerment programs put in place for the year for a reason not far fetch from cushioning the effect of the present economic forces on people.

Prophet Dele OGUNDIPE, the founder of Genesis Global International, is one of the men of God who canâ€™t let go without assisting those who are in need. Times without number, he has seen handing over the offering collected in a service to whoever he wants as directed by the Holy Spirit. There was a time a physically challenged woman visited his church during a special program and he blessed the woman with a reasonable amount of money and Prophet, get them an accommodation and also give her husband a car worth less than 2million naira.

Prophet Okafor, the founder of Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministries, is also one of the few pastors who believe in giving back to the masses. During the pandemic, he also gave palliative to people just cushion the effects of lockdown on people. There was a time he gave out #3.5 million naira as a relief contribution to aid the treatment of ailing Nollywood members and also gave N 500,000 to a widow whose predicament had threatened to alienate her from her community. He is of the opinion that those who know of giving will not joke with it and that he wouldnâ€™t be in ministry if he could not help humanity. And always emphasizes that he will continue doing it as much as he can and until the day he goes to be with the Lord in heaven.

Pastor Paul Eneche of Dunamis Gospel International Church is one of the few pastors who does not limit his charity activities only in the church. Sometimes, he does walk round street and distribute food stuffs, beverages, and cash gifts to the less -privileged and those that are in need.

Pastor Evelyn Joshua of Synagogue, the wife of the Arigidi Akoko born Prophet T.B Joshua (late) who his hands of charity cut across all over the world has decided to continues from where her late husband stopped. Since then, she has been committed and always ready to give whenever it is necessary and required.

Pastor Joshua Iginla, the founder of the Joshua Iginla Foundation, is also a humanitarian, and his charity foundation is arm of the Champions Royal Assembly. Many lives have been impacted by this Foundation around the world.

And Pastor Tunde Bakare of Latter Rain church changed to Dominion Hall Citadel Global Community Church and are some of the Pastors whose their contributions towards humanity can not be underestimated and their impacts on cushioning the effect present economic hardship are obvious.

Some people believe it is not good to make it known. While some people on the other hand, believe it is necessary to publicize it because it will send signals to others Pastors, that are silent about it inculcate the habit of giving and get involved in charity activities. According to the scripture; let your light shine before all men that they may see your good work all glorify your father, which is in Heaven

So, there is no need to challenge other people who are ready to propagate the gospel to others to see. It is stated in a psalm that I will praise the Lord within the congregation of His people and don't forget that the Bible says whatever you do whether eating or celebrating, everything should be done to glorify God. Either they make it public or not does not matters, what matters are the faces they put smiles on and the life they revive through their charity and humanitarianism.

Now that the church is at the mercy of God, I urge all men of God to focus on charity, make their activities known to the public so as to get more people to participate in Charity work, win more souls to our maker and glorifying the name of God.
