VENO NEWS: Motivational:Your Upbringing And Background Is An Added Advantage To Career Development---Godday Odidi Declares
Date: 30-03-23

To sustain and maintain your career development or destiny fulfillment, you need good character, humility, courage, tenacity, perseverance, integrity, due process, prayers, and critical thinking to achieve your set goals on earth.

"If your upbringing is faulty in terms of character building, no matter how you pretend to be what you are not, in due time would reveal itself.

I was born to a soldier father, trained by a disciplinarian grandmother, and nurtured by a chartered accountant uncle, and grew up in a church/teacher environment with discipline and a self-independent mindset.

If you don't have good character to sustain your rising in your career path, you will end up offending people and making yourself a laughing stock.

Your educational qualifications have limitations in the sense that if you throw away good character and think qualification is the only answer to your life, you have just made a blunder in your destiny.

Arrogance can stop someone's growth if he or she refuses to amend. Doggedness or determination is not arrogance. You must learn how to talk to people politely and respectfully.

I had an experience some years ago when I was producing our local newspaper(Isokotoday)at the Business Day newspaper office in Apapa, Lagos.

So, the newspaper was not well-arranged, after paying some thousands of naira to produce it. I was bitter, my anger grew high, unknown to me, the CEO of the Business Day Newspaper dressed simply as one of the production officers, he spoke to me politely as an ordinary gatekeeper with much simplicity. I realized those with genuine wealth are humble to the core.

If you have a poor upbringing, it would affect your career or destiny growth in life. You must learn how to approach people you never met in life. One good recommendation can push your destiny to the next level and one bad recommendation can push your destiny to zero level.
