VENO NEWS:Owo Church Attack: CJPAN Mourns, Consoles With The Families Of Those Who Lost Their Lives
Date: 06-06-22

The Celebrity Journal Publishers Association of Nigeria (CJPAN) has condemned the attack perpetrated by the unknown Gunmen who stormed Catholic Church of God in Owo, Ondo State, Nigeria during service on Sunday and in the process many lives were lost.

The Association sympathized with the families of those that lost their lives, Ondo State Government and the Owo kingdom at large.

This was made known by the President of the Association, Mr.Joshua Uloko on Sunday 5th June, 2022

According to him, church is the most safe and perfect environment to run to when you needed peace from all walks of life and a hidden place from danger. The reverse is the case in Nigeria due to insecurity

The attack on worshipers at the church in Owo is uncalled for, wicked and reckless.

No person or persons should loose their lives in such unwarranted and callous manner, as all lifes are precious before God.

He however called on the security operatives to be proactive . Imagine, Gunmen attack a church and operated for 20 minutes and still disappeared to thin air without any arrest..This called for more intelligence gathering and calling on the security agencies to do a thorough job in fishing out the perpetrators and their sponsor, and also ensure that they feel the full wrath of the law to serve as a deterrent to others.
