Police have arrested a popular content creator known as Odogwu of Asaba over allegations that he raped a 20-year-old woman in Asaba, Delta State.
According to reports, the suspect allegedly invited the young woman under the pretext of assisting her. She later accused him of taking her to a hotel, where she said he sexually assaulted her without her consent.
The allegation gained widespread attention after the woman shared an emotional account of her experience in a viral video, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
The police confirmed the arrest of the suspect and stated that the case is under investigation. Authorities have assured the public that the matter will be thoroughly investigated and that anyone found culpable will face the full weight of the law.
The suspect remains an accused person, and the allegations have not yet been proven in court.
