The identities of suspects allegedly involved in the kidnapping of a female relative of former Minister of Power, Chief Bayo Adelabu, and her twin children have been revealed following ongoing police investigations.
According to security sources, the criminal syndicate reportedly carried out detailed surveillance on the family before executing the abduction. Investigators disclosed that the gang monitored daily movements, photographed vehicles and school environments, and allegedly attempted to recruit an insider within the household prior to the operation.
Suspects and Alleged Roles
Kelechi
Allegedly served as a lookout at the gang's hideout.
Reportedly engaged security operatives in a gun battle during a rescue operation and was killed alongside another gang member.
Unidentified Gang Member
Allegedly participated in holding the victims at the hideout.
Was reportedly killed during the confrontation with security personnel.
Arrested Suspects
Wale Abolalewa (Alias "Oloro")
Described as a key member of the kidnapping syndicate.
Allegedly participated in the planning and execution of the abduction.
His arrest reportedly provided investigators with vital information that helped unravel the network.
Dare Oyedele (Alias "Solution")
Identified by investigators as a principal operational link within the gang.
Allegedly involved in surveillance, planning, and execution of the kidnapping.
Currently assisting investigators.
Semiu Ishola (39)
Allegedly facilitated and arranged the criminal hideout located in the Lado Community, Ayegun area of Ibadan.
Adeyemi Ayobami (35)
Allegedly assisted in securing and facilitating the hideout where the victims were held.
Investigation Continues
Security agencies disclosed that the syndicate allegedly conducted a structured surveillance operation on the victims' family before carrying out the abduction, reportedly using an unregistered Toyota Camry during the operation.
Authorities have assured the public that investigations are ongoing and that all individuals connected to the criminal network will be brought to justice.
