The APC Strategic Caucus Meeting held in Ogun State has reportedly unanimously endorsed Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, as the consensus governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, under the leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun.
At the same meeting, party stakeholders also endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office.
In his acceptance speech, Senator Yayi assured party members and supporters that he would not let the party down, declaring that “the ship will not derail.”
He maintained that he would do his best to keep the party united, preserve peace, and ensure continuous progress in Ogun State.
According to him, the task ahead requires commitment, loyalty, and collective effort from all party members, adding that with unity and proper coordination, the APC would remain strong and victorious in the state.
