A top Iranian security official has issued a strong warning to U.S. President Donald Trump, telling him to “be careful not to get eliminated yourself.” The message came amid the escalating conflict between Iran, the United States, and Israel.
The warning was reportedly made by Ali Larijani, a senior Iranian national-security figure, who dismissed Trump’s threats and insisted that Iran would not be intimidated. According to him, even powerful leaders before Trump could not defeat Iran, cautioning the U.S. president to watch his steps.
This exchange followed Trump’s warning that the United States could retaliate “twenty times harder” if Iran interferes with global oil shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, a strategic waterway critical to world energy supply.
The tension is part of a wider regional war that began after U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran, which triggered retaliatory missile and drone attacks across the Middle East and raised fears of a prolonged conflict.
