The Supreme Head of Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, His Most Eminence, Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Abiodun Adewale Alogbo (JP), expressed immense joy and gratitude for the intervention that led to the release of 151 Abducted Kaduna Worshippers.
It would be recalled that intercessory prayers for the released of the abducted members were highlights of the just concluded Annual General Conference of Cherubim and Seraphim Unification of Nigeria held in Lagos.
In a statement signed on behalf of the Supreme Head by the Secretary General of
The Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Prophet (Dr.) Anthony Olusesan Samaiye on Monday announced the safe release and return of 151 members who were abducted from Iburu, Kajuri Local Government Area, Kaduna State, on January 18, 2026.
According to the statement, the joyous news was confirmed through a detailed report by the church's Liaison Officer in Kaduna, Senior Special Apostle I. A. Adeyemi, and Senior Special Apostle Pastor Solomon Katanga.
Baba Olori emphasized that this outcome is a testament to the power of unwavering faith and strategic engagement, following his emergency visit to Kaduna and subsequent high-level deliberations.
Prophet Dr. Alogbo extended profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, Mr. Sani Liman Kila, the Chief of Staff to the Executive Governor, and Rev. Ishaya Jangado, the Senior Special Assistant on Religious Affairs (Christian Matters). He specifically lauded the Governor's commitment to dialogue, responsiveness, and seamless coordination of state resources, which played a pivotal role in this breakthrough.
The successful outcome highlights the possibilities when religious leadership and the State collaborate in transparency and mutual respect for the safety of all. The statement further acknowledged the prayers and support from the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the President of the Organization of African Instituted Churches (OAIC), His Most Eminence, Prophet Akin Adewo, FCA, the international community, and believers worldwide.
Meanwhile, the Church being mindful of the trauma endured by the 151 individuals, has mobilized welfare and medical teams to provide immediate psychosocial support and care for the returned members and their families.
Baba Olori continues to pray for the peace of Kaduna State and Nigeria, hoping this event marks a turning point where light triumphs over darkness and the safety of every Nigerian becomes an unshakable reality.
