Death is inevitable and cruel, though, it visits everyone. One death too many in recent months… The sudden death of OLAJUMOKE OLOGUNMETA (nee OJO) today (Black Monday indeed) is shocking, devastating and painfully painful. It is understood that the lady of substance and impeccable character had been ill for sometime now. Quite unbelievable and positively shocking! Her demise makes hearts ache.
In fact, death is discriminatory. Instead of visiting the idiots ruling America and Russia right now, both are dangerous and a threat to the peaceful world, it struck a beautiful and generously generous Olajumoke who had been of tremendous help to her hometown, Igbara Oke in Nigeria, family, friends and above all humanity. The iconic lady was one in a million. She did not deserve to die so suddenly. Really sad!
Her late father, Pa Edward Ojo, was a close friend of Pa Isaac Ade-Ojo (Elekuru) who passed away shockingly in March. Both were proudly Omo Eleye, great characters and generous as well. They were honest! Generosity and honesty run in the veins of almost every indigene or citizen of the Nodal Town. Blood is thicker than water!
Olajumoke Ologunmeta has exited this sinful world suddenly/painfully. No wonder the glowing tributes pouring in on social media and mouth media alike from all walks of life/society. She will be greatly missed.
Frankly, the passing of the gap-toothed, easy-going and down-to-earth lady brings tears to eyes. What a great loss! May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Heartfelt condolences to the bereaved husband, Festus Tope Ologunmeta, children and the entire family. Prayers and thoughts are with each and everyone of them. We share their common griefs and mourn together! Adieu OLAJUMOKE OLOGUNMETA (nee OJO)… Peace as always!
