VENOtv: "God Sees Every Suffering" — Bishop Sanya Ojo Declares Date: 08-06-26
By Temitope Oni
As many Nigerians continue to groan under economic hardship and insecurity, Bishop Dr. Sanya Ojo SOMH Cares has assured citizens that God is fully aware of every suffering and injustice being experienced by His people.
The cleric made this declaration during the early Monday morning edition of the Good Morning Holy Spirit programme, where he preached on the theme, "The Cry of the Saints Under the Altar," taken from Revelation 6:9-11.
According to Bishop Ojo, the Bible passage speaks about believers who suffered persecution because of their faith and testimony. He explained that their blood cried out for justice before God, and heaven responded with comfort, honour, and the assurance that divine judgment would come at the appointed time.
"Those who stand for truth may suffer, but heaven never forgets them," the Bishop said.
He emphasized that God's timing is perfect, noting that the saints were instructed to "rest a little while," signifying that God will intervene, but according to His divine timetable.
Addressing those who feel abandoned because God appears silent, Bishop Ojo stated that God's silence should never be mistaken for indifference.
"Many people believe God is silent, but He has promised to act at His appointed time. Nothing done against God's people is hidden from Him," he declared.
The Bishop further explained that the white robes given to the saints symbolize victory, purity, peace, and eternal triumph. Though they suffered on earth, heaven honoured them with everlasting glory.
He also condemned attacks and hostility directed at spiritual leaders, urging believers to exercise patience and allow God to handle every matter according to His will.
Speaking on national affairs, Bishop Ojo advised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to adopt a more conciliatory approach as preparations for the 2027 general elections gather momentum.
He urged the President to release opposition figures currently in detention and create what he described as "a level playing field" for democratic participation.
"The more perceived political opponents are detained, the more it may affect public confidence and weaken the chances of electoral success," he stated.
The Bishop concluded by encouraging Nigerians to remain steadfast in faith, assuring them that God sees every suffering and that justice will ultimately prevail.
