As Christians across Nigeria and beyond celebrated Father's Day, the General Overseer of Veno Prayer Centre a.k.a. Mountain of Covenant, Bishop Dr. Sanya Ojo SOMH Cares, offered special prayers for the sick, the aged, and those passing through difficult moments in life.
Speaking during the Father's Day celebration, the cleric urged believers not to lose hope regardless of their present challenges, stressing that God remains the Great Physician who is able to heal every disease and restore every broken situation.
According to him, Father's Day should not only be a day of celebration but also a day of intercession for families, fathers, mothers, children, and those battling various health conditions.
"I pray that God will visit every sick person wherever they may be. May the healing power of Jesus Christ touch them and restore them to perfect health. Every spirit of affliction, pain, and infirmity is hereby rebuked in Jesus' name," he declared.
The Bishop also prayed for fathers across the nation, asking God to grant them wisdom, strength, divine protection, and long life to fulfill their responsibilities in their homes and society.
He further encouraged Nigerians to remain steadfast in faith, noting that difficult times do not last forever and that God's mercy is sufficient for all who trust in Him.
The service featured thanksgiving, worship, testimonies, and special prayers for families, while members expressed gratitude to God for preserving their lives and households.
