I always like drawing inferences from various Bible stories, most especially, stories I know, you can equally find in the Qur'an .

Egypt was to experience a serious drought that God revealed to pharaoh the king, and it will bring the nation down on her knees, and push her to the wall.

Fear gripped Pharaoh, because the greatest fear a leader can have is being warned of impending food drought as this will give birth to many distabilising factors like insecurities and ultimately, a revolution. Most revolutions in history were enabled by food scarcity and total breakdown of law and order.

Pharaoh quickly set out to find a solution. He did the unthinkable. He brought out his solution from the prison. Joseph was in prison when pharaoh had his terrible dream. He, Joseph had a gift in the interpretation of dreams. Pharaoh swallowed his pride to order that Joseph be brought up to him. He never considered the retinue of his associates, political allies, close family network and so on, but because, Egypt was about to be pushed to the wall, he buried his pride, and not only brought out Joseph to interpret his dream, but immediately appointed Joseph to as well be in charge of massive food production, and massive storage.

The key factors in the above inferences are; massive food production, and massive storage units.

When a nation is pushed to the wall, leaders should swallow their pride and go down on their knees to look for solutions. Otherwise, such ignoble personality will be consumed with the resultant effects! King Luis the xvi was a perfect example that was consumed with the french revolution of 1782.

When the drought set in as dreamt by pharaoh, Egypt became the Savior of the whole world, as it's reported that the whole world came to Egypt to procure foods and other items. It made Egypt great .

Nigeria is presently on her knees. It didn't just cropped out overnight, but many economic egg heads had for seen it coming, Dr (Mrs ) okonjo Iweala , a former minister of finance had warned Nigeria, about Ten years ago, that Nigeria is broke, she warned that if Nigeria do not diversify her economy back to agriculture, Nigeria might face bankruptcy in the nearest future. That future is here. Dr sanusi Lamido, the present Emir of Kano and former governor of CBN sang the same lyrics as song too about the same time as Dr Iweala . So was Dr. Soludo, also, a former CBN governor.

In the religious parlance, the prophets we called naysayers cried out to warn Nigeria of these day. At least, I know T. B. Joshua did warned Nigeria of this day in a prophecy about eight years ago. So also was the controversial prophet Ayodele of INRI ministry.

Quite unfortunate,a Bola Tinubu is the president whilst the country is on her knees.

However, we have so many Josephs around to profer solutions if only our leaders can humble themselves to learn from the inferences drawn above.

One of my political colleagues and leader, Hon Makinde Oyebode, a former Vice Chairman of Mopamuro local government took some of us along memory line yesterday 11th Wednesday, 2024 in an online economic impact analytical and brainstorming session to call our attention to the obvious solutions.

According to Hon Oyebode; Create a Special intervention Fund for Agricultural Revolution with the excess money generated from the subsidy removal, invest heavily into
Poultry production,
Goat breeding, piggery, Fish farming.
Sugar production with the reenactment of the hay days when we have Suger cane plantation, cotton farming. Rubber plantations and so on.
Let us revive
The Textile industries like the Kaduna Textile, Iyamoye texttile ,Kwara textile, Nichemtex and so on. Bring back Dunlop and Micheline tyre by revisiting our rubber plantations which are presently idle, and
Exide battery, the
Tate and lyne and
Various pharmaceutical industries.

Hon Oyebode called on each state go into production of a particular item en mass, let's have excess of such agricultural produce for export.

Youths/Graduates should be recruited into the scheme as staff and not the giving out of usual loans or grants to them to buy phones, marry wives or Japa .

No doubt, If there is Enough food in each state, hunger will drop drastically and we will be an exporting nation to improve our forex.

To curb the problems of farmers and heardsmen menace, Each Local govt should secure our farm lands.
Special Forest guards should be recruited against herdsmen and insurgents. Security posts should be established as forest guard base on our various farm land and forest to curb the waste being experience by farmers from the herdsmen.

I must say here that, Solution is not the constant loan or grants as presently being done by government.
We have tried it and it's not working.
Let us recruit permanent staff for such purpose to get results.
Youths should not wait for white collar jobs.
Let us also stop waisting economic hours waiting or praying for miracles.
Let do more work than praying.

If we can't manufacture cars, aeroplane, Phone, electronic, we should be able to export, cassava, yams ,Garri and ground nuts.
Let bring back the old ground nut pyramids, Let's revive the cocoa and coffee plantation in the south.
Let us have an identity.
Let us be known for something , indeed, Hon Oyebode was passionate about his views which he believes will help restore our glory if only our leaders can listen and learn like pharaoh did in Egypt centuries ago.

When a nation is brought to her knees as we are presently doing. Our leaders must be humble to accept Germaine contribution from every sector of the nation.

MAY NIGERIA SUCCEED.
